Symington Large Wooden Log Store
Designed to take a tonne bag of logs this hand crafted log store is made from tanalised timber from local forests. The four corner posts are 3” while the sides and roof are featheredge boarding recessed inbetween the posts to give a timeless look. The wooden grate is made of nine 2”x1” rails supported by 2”x2” lengths of timber. It’s built to last. All the fixings used are designed specifically for external use to ensure longevity.

Sizes
When sizing a log store many retailers will give a volume in m3. This would make sense if logs were liquid but they’re not. We prefer to tell you the area in m2, after we’ve removed the space taken up by the floor grate. Most logs are sold at a length of 25cm so all of our stores comfortably take two rows of logs.
The back row of the large log store can take 1.61m2 while the front row can take 1.51m2 giving a total of 3.12m2.

Assembly
The log stores are delivered flat packed with assembly instructions and can be easily constructed using a Phillips type screwdriver into pre-drilled holes. Alternatively, we can arrange erection for a small charge.

As all our log stores are hand built we can amend designs easily within reason. If our standard log stores are not quite what you either want or need then please contact us directly and we will try and work to your individual requirements.

Orders within Scottish Borders, Edinburgh and the Lothians are free. Outwith these areas please message and we can advise on delivery charges.
